Born in Cairo, Youssef brings 18 years of private equity and structured finance experience across North Africa and the Levant. He built and exited three agro-industrial ventures before turning to investment management. At Cultivet, he leads investment structuring, investor relations, and the firm’s Turkey and North Africa portfolios. He is known for asking one question at every deal: “Who benefits if this works?”

An Oxford-trained development economist from Nairobi, Dr. Osei spent a decade designing food security policy frameworks for the African Union and the World Bank before joining Amara to build Cultivet Capital. She oversees all Africa-region investments and leads the firm’s impact measurement framework, which she insists must be as rigorous as the financial model.
